Prime Minister Edi Rama has informed this Tuesday on the achievements of Operation Force of Law (OFL) during 2020.
The head of government stressed that OFL has seized 1713 criminal assets, it has referred to Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption (SPAK) 223 cases, and it has cracked down on 30 criminal groups.
Regarding the number of murders, Rama stated that during the period January-November 2020, 7 murders were registered less than last year.
“The fight against organized crime has continued intensively. The culmination of this war was the activity of OFL, which currently counts the seizure of 1713 assets and the referral to the SPAK of 223 cases. Meanwhile, 103 members of criminal organizations have been arrested and 30 groups have been hit.
On the other hand, even this year the number of intentional homicides continues to decline./abcnews.al
