Swearing-in ceremony of the newest Constitutional Court judge, Ilir Toska took place Monday in front of the President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, in the premises of the latter’s institution.
After the execution of the national anthem and the reading of the corresponding decree of his appointment by the Head of State, Judge Toska, with his hand on the Constitution of Albania, swore before President Begaj that:
“I swear that while performing my duties I will always remain loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Albania”.
On his part, President Begaj wished Ilir Toska success in his new position as a member of the Constitutional Court.
Meanwhile, Head of the Constitutional Court, Vitore Tusha, Deputy Chair of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, the Head of Judicial Appointments Council, Sokol Binaj, the Resident Legal Advisor of OPDAT at the US Embassy in Tirana, Constantine Soupios, as well as the head of the Political Sector at the EU Delegation in Tirana Alexis Hupin as well as members of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic took part in the office oath ceremony.
