Numerous police forces assisted by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have carried out an action this Tuesday morning, for the capture of the person wanted for a murder order, Suel Çela.
Police forces landed at the agro-food market and at the latter’s house for checks. It is not yet known whether Çela has been found or feared, as the police are reserved in providing information. Suel Çela has been wanted for several years as a suspected person involved in criminal events.
Suel Çela, also known as Marjus Lulaj, has requested the Special Court to change the security measure from prison arrest to a lighter security measure.
Since May last year, Çela was declared wanted after the testimony of justice witness Nuredin Dumani.
According to SPAK, Çela ordered the murder of businessman Lulzim Masha near the artificial lake. Also, SPAK suspects that he also ordered the murder of Elton Kila. The attack on administrator Lulzim Masha took place on January 18, 2022. Fortunately, Masha escaped without being hit by bullets.
He was shot in broad daylight while driving his car in the Dry Lake area. For this event, Skerdi Tase was arrested, who admitted to the crime. The repentant justice Nuredin Dumani claimed that on the day of the incident he was with Skerdi Tase in Tirana and helped him to leave quickly.
