President Ilir Meta has published a report on asylum applications which ranks Albania alongside Afghan countries. Meta says Albania does not deserve to be ranked among these countries. He says that the wrong direction of authoritarianism, arrogance, corruption and stupidity, which is impoverishing and exhausting Albanians so much, must end.
According to him, the first step to return to the right direction is to respect 5th June agreement without deviating from it by a single millimeter. The head of state writes that sovereignty in the hands of the people can be restored by opening 100% of the lists and fulfilling all EU conditions./abcnews.al
