The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, gave a communication to the media a few hours before the protest called at the Tirana incinerator. Meta said that the protest will be peaceful and will be followed by protests at other incinerators, while inviting citizens to participate.
“A few hours separate us from the protest at the scene and the crime scene, at the Tirana incinerator at 6:00 p.m. On this occasion, I would like to thank all the citizens who have expressed their sensibilities regarding this matter, especially those of the capital, who are the first to be robbed through this mafia affair that generates tens of thousands of euros every day for persons in search under the protection of the head of the affair, Edi Rama.
Therefore, I would like to invite all citizens to be present today at this scene of crime that occurs through the theft of their taxes and through government fraud and at the same time through the operation of directed justice, to say enough to this story that has made our country to be among the countries in the world for the level of corruption, state capture, to lose 26 countries in terms of transparency and the fight against corruption.
It will be a peaceful, civic, model but also very concrete protest. The fact that we have chosen the scene of the crime makes it even more important”, said Meta.
