Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has called on Serbian extremists and criminal groups to immediately stop attacks, in order to continue free and fair elections.
This call by PM Kurti was issued on the social networks, after Monday evening’s meeting with European and American emissaries Miroslav Lajçak and Gabriel Escobar
“In a mtg w/ UM DAS Escobar & EU SR MiroslavLajcak, I expressed my unreserved commitment to de-escalation. Essential steps forward are an immediate end to attacks on security forces by violent extremists & criminal groups, and the RoL to ensure free and fair campaign & elections”, tweeted Kurti.
In the talks with Kurti, Escobar and Lajcak proposed three demands: new elections, calming the situation and returning to the dialogue with Serbia.
