For Prime Minister Edi Rama, the investigation of the January 21 murders on the boulevard is the foundation for the new justice system.
In a media conference, Rama said that until now the country’s highest authorities have prevented justice in the most brutal way from reacting and acting in real time to start the investigation of the crime.
“It is clear in the decision that the highest authorities of the country have prevented justice in the most brutal (criminal) way from reacting and acting in real time to start solving this crime.
I am convinced even today that there is no force that can prevent the final disclosure of the state crime of January 21.
But it may continue to be delayed. I am here expressing these considerations because it is important for the morale of the justice system, the institutions, families, that the whole society does not continue to hang because of this crime and that the delay does not continue deliberate and cynical in the face of the necessity of justice on January 21.
In the face of January 21st and the state crime of January 21st, all the others have their importance, but they are much less likely to weigh in the full establishment of the whole new foundation of justice that has just begun to be built.
If the new foundation of justice remains in the air on January 21, it cannot hold all the extraordinary weight of the mission that justice has in a democratic country, where no one is above the law”, said Rama.
