On March 1, Prime Minister Edi Rama, accompanied by the Albanian delegation will participate in the meeting of the Stabilization and Association Council in Brussels.
Albania’s path towards the European Union will be the focus of the meeting between the union leaders and the representatives of Albania.
During this visit, the head of the Albanian government will meet with the President of the European Council Ursula von der Leyen, the EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Oliver Varherly and the next President of the EU, held by Portugal, Antonia Costa.
It has been learned that the opening of negotiations will be at the center of the discussion. Around 14:00 there will be a press conference on the conclusions of this roundtable where it is expected to highlight the progres of Albania.
Earlier, Rama stated that Albania will not get a date for the first intergovernmental conference without the elections in the Netherlands, one of the most skeptical countries regarding our country. /abcnews.al/
