The death of her mother and daughter in Tirana, which were part of a religious organization, has taken on the dimensions of a horror event. After the intervention of the police, it was possible to rescue the other 34-year-old girl, who is currently in the Psychiatric Emergency Department at the University Hospital Center.
The mother and daughters had avoided contact with other residents of the builings, while there was a heavy sjell that was spreading in the building due to the decomposition of Anisa Josif’s body, which alarmed the residents.
It is suspected that the girl died at least a year ago, while the mother and the other sister dyed her body with olive oil and vinegar to slow down the decomposition process, thus waiting for her resurrection. Experts have previously ascertained signs of mummification in the body due to olive and vinegar oil, while initially it was wrapped in towels.
They have also covered Anisa’s body with many quilts and blankets so that the heavy smell of decomposition would not dissipate.
The women had no contact with anyone in the building which has worried Zhanet’s brother, who had tried to contact her many times.
Meanwhile, Zhaneta Josifi’s brother-in-law declares for abcnews.al that she went to her house two months ago asking about the girl, but she had told him that they would not let her go out because she had not fulfilled “God’s days”.
Earlier, police went to Zhaneta Josif’s house to ask if they had any problems as to why they were not leaving, but they said they were staying isolated because of coronavirus.
It was Zhaneta Josif’s brother who announced the police because his sister had not answered the phone for several days. After the intervention of the police, Zhaneta Josifi and Anisa Josifi were found dead at home, while Blerta Josifi was found in serious health condition. /abcnews.al
