Notorious cryptocurrency fraudster Faruk Fatih Ozer has been sentenced to prison by the Court of Elbasan this Friday. During the session, judge Elis Dini gave the security measure, arrest with prison for the Turk who is accused of fraud with millions of euros to the detriment of Turkish citizens.
With this decision, the green light is given for Faruk Ozer to be extradited to Turkey, to face justice there.
On his part, the 28-year-old Faruk Ozer has been wanted internationally for a year by Interpol Ankara for the criminal offenses of “Creation of a criminal organization” and “Fraud with serious consequences”.
In recent months, he lived in Elbasan where he changed his appearance by cutting his hair short and wearing a hat, which is why it was difficult to identify him on the streets of the city.
Sources from the investigation group said that so far the address of the apartment where the 25-year-old has lived since April has not been found. It is only known that he lived in the May 5 neighborhood, while the authorities have started the procedures for his extradition to Turkey.
