At a press conference from the blue headquarters, the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha asked the government to take immediate measures for the pandemic situation in the country.
The Democrat leader referred to a VOA article, where he says new cases have risen by 15% and testing has dropped.
Capacities of Covid 1 and Covid 2 hospitals in Tirana have already been collapsed, revealed the Chairman of Democratic Party (DP) Lulzim Basha as he criticized the government for not taking “the right lessons” from the first wave of coronavirus outbreak.
Opposition Leader thinks that a third Covid hospital will not be established and that the healthcare system of Albania is headed towards collapse. Basha also accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of taking no measure to cope with the pandemic situation and of “returning to the ritual of nonsenses”.
He has returned to the ritual of nonsense, but when it comes to Covid, there is only one word, ‘Put on the mask! He has no plan. Has announced the third package, but there is no third package. He has abandoned the elementary duty of the government, protection of human health”, noted DP’s Chair.
“The only one who has not taken any measures for this situation is Edi Rama. A mask that one in three Albanians has no money to pay. He says put on the mask or I fined you. Has announced the third package, while there is no third package. We have been speechless these six months to take measures for mass testing. And today it is VOA that says infections have risen by 15% and testing has dropped”, said Basha /abcnews.al
