The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, in a statement to the media, confirmed that from July 1st, there will be a salary increase for Guard employees. Balla added that this financial assessment comes from the fund in the state budget of 400 million dollars, which will also benefit employees of other sectors.
“Regarding the salaries for Guard employees, he said that intensive discussions continue and that it is intended that on July 1, a long-term expectation will be realized and there will be an increase in salaries, which according to him is due to good financial management”, he said.
According to the minister, this year the focus of their work is guaranteeing public safety, taking into account the high number of foreign visitors who are expected to arrive in Albania.
