Prime Minister Edi Rama made an important announcement for pedestrians or road users who have been fined by police for breaching lockdown measures which have been introduced by the government to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.
According to the head of the government, the fines which have been issued will be written off as well as the return of patents and seized cars.
On Friday, parliament passed a normative act through which tougher penalties will apply against those who flout lockdown measures. According to PM, next week will be different as people will face tougher measures if they breach the restrictions. /abcnews.al
