The draft of proposals for amendments to the Criminal Code regarding the penalties for persons who break the rules and orders imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic situation has been clarified.
Whoever disobeys the new rules issued during the state of natural disaster is punishable by a fine or up to six months in prison.
If the violation of the rules is repeated, the punishment it ranges from 30 days to 1 year in prison. But if the violation of the rules endangers the life or causes the death of another person, the sentence is 5 to1 5 years./abcnews.al
