After several months of debate between the majority and the opposition, the parties agreed on the approval of the criminal amnesty. This Thursday, it is expected that the criminal amnesty will be put on the agenda in the Assembly.
The Socialist Party and Reestablishment found a way of compromise to vote the draft, even with the changes proposed by the opposition. In the amendments submitted to the Assembly, the pardon of all opposition protesters is foreseen, excluding those who have hit the police officers. With her vote, over 600 prisoners are expected to benefit.
