The Police Supervision Agency has executed the decision of the Special Court for a former police officer.
It is known that the GJKKO has set the security measure “House arrest” against former judicial police officer Ledio Ferzaj, 46 years old, suspected of committing the criminal offense “Passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other officials of the justice bodies”.
From several months of investigations under the direction of SPAK, it was possible to document the involvement of the former officer of DVP Berat in corrupt actions, who, in exchange for a monetary value, tried to close a criminal case against a citizen.
Ledio Ferzaj was fired from the police on May 9, 2023, after the broadcast of a video in the media, where it was seen how he took money from a citizen, with the claim that he would close his case. At that time, he blackmailed the citizen that he would put him in prison because he had a previous criminal record.
