Vlora Police has conducted an operation in the village of Bishan, where a plot of cannabis was discovered among the corn, arresting citizens Skënder Llanaj, Danielo Llanaj and Bujar Hoxhaj.
Authorities put under investigation the headman of the village of Bishan and 3 police officers, as they allegedly misused their duties by not fulfilling their duties and responsibilities for the control of the area.
During the operation, in the village of Bishan, the Police services found 4930 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants cultivated among a plot of corn, owned by citizen Danielo Llanaj, which were destroyed by burning.
In the vicinity of this plot, a warehouse adapted for drying narcotic plants and preparation of narcotic substances, owned by citizen Skënder Llanaj, was discovered.
In this warehouse, 198 kg of narcotics were found in the drying process, 2 Kalashnikov firearms, 1 shotgun and a quantity of ammunition, which were seized as material evidence.
