Declared “non grata”, Berisha remembers the meeting with George W Bush in Tirana

Today, Prime Minister Sali Berisha recalled the reception of George W Bush in Tirana. 14 years ago, Bush, then the head of the White House, came to Tirana, on the first visit of an American president to our country.

In a post on social networks, Berisha describes it as a historic day in the friendly relations between Albania and the USA.

“A historic day in the friendly relations between Albania and the United States of America! “President George W Bush’s visit to Albania,” writes Berisha.

 

The former prime minister was recently declared “non grata” by the US State Department. Berisha claims that this decision is not based on evidence and has sued the American Secretary, Anthony Blinken. / abcnews.al
