The vaccination process has started today in the city of Elbasan. The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, said that within these two months, the vaccination for medical staff will be completed.
Manastirliu said that the vaccination will continue with the priority groups to be extended to the entire population.
She added that the government is still filling the gaps created due to the bad governance that has led to the absence of specialist doctors for four years.
“Today we started with the medical staff such as the emergencies of the hospital of Elbasan to be extended later to the hospital of Librazhd and Prrenjas. Vaccination of medical staff will be completed during February and March. We have started the works for the construction of the new pediatrics in Elbasan.
Our health care standards are the same as in the village or the city. We will continue vaccinating with the priority groups that are most exposed to COVID cases./abcnews.al
