Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that the vaccination process will be completed within 14 months. He said that the government is waiting for the confirmation of the agreement with AstraZeneca for 360 thousand doses of vaccine.
Rama aslso stressed out that the elderly will be the priority while he promised that within a week the vaccination for 1000 elderly people will be vaccinated.
“Within a week 1000 elderly people will be vaccinated. We are waiting day by day for an important confirmation to finalize the agreement for 360 thousand doses of Astrazeneca vaccine. Yesterday we had a contact from a friendly country. And there we have realistic hope that we will have another amount.
We are convinced that the vaccination of the population will be realized within 14 months, said Rama./abcnews.al
