The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, presented Friday the program for agriculture. Basha described the program “Albania Gains Agriculture” as a serious work plan that will change Albania for the better.
He stressed that this program has been worked for 2 years in a row with the best specialists in the country. “We have talked and discussed with farmers, young and old, from south to north, who have told us how the government can and should help them. These are concrete plans, they are commitments to you, they are not empty promises”, declared Basha.
He further said that their goal is to turn the villages and rural areas of the country, from forgotten and completely abandoned by the current government, into development factors.
Basha stated that the economy of farmers and entrepreneurs of this sector will be strongly supported, and the quality of services for them and their families, such as education and health, will increase. He stressed that they will put an end to a deep macroeconomic and social paradox.

This is our plan. We believe in it and I am convinced of its applicability. Improving the lives of farmers brings improved lives for all of us; for consumers, for the Albanian economy, for the future of Albania. The plan we are presenting to you today is not simply our commitment to you, Albanian farmers. It is my commitment to our country. It is exactly what we are going to make a reality.
