A man was shot dead this Monday in Sheq of Fier. The victim is Shkelzen Kastrati who was killed in the area where is the market of the village. He was killed while he was in his car, while police arrived on the scene to shed light on the reasons of this murder.
Journalist Valbona Davidhi reports for abcnews.al that the victim, 42 years old, is a resident of Fier and does not appear to have previous criminal records.
From the data so far, it is understood that the 42-year-old has fallen prey to a well-organized assassination and it is suspected that he was shot by a “professional killer”.
The car is registered in the name of another person. From this it is suspected that the perpetrators were aware of his movements.
Kastrati was shot a few meters further and then moved injured where he collided with a casual vehicle. Meanwhile, the victim is still in the vehicle and sources suggest that experts are having trouble opening the door.
There is another “Mercedes Benz” car with AA799UY license plates at the scene. It is not yet known if this car has anything to do with the event. After the event, the police found a burnt car in the village of Daullas in Fier./abcnews.al
