Prime Minister Edi Rama has harshly criticized the Acting President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, over the latter’s statement during her visit to Albania, that the toll at Nation’s Road is diving Albania and Kosovo.
Labeling it a grotesque debate, Rama said that the sliding road beam is not to separate Albania from Kosovo, but for all patriots to pay for a road with standards, and not dangerous as it was before.
“Even more grotesque is the debate over the sliding road beam. The road toll is presented as the border set for Kosovo. This is used for domestic politics with an administrative issue of the neighboring country and to come to Tirana to do propaganda to win votes in Kosovo with absurd demagoguery and rhetoric, because there is no border.
There will be a toll even tomorrow on the new Milot-Fier road, which is not the border between cities. This is grotesque, but also not benevolent. If for Mrs. Vjosa, the homeland is Kosovo and Albania, then this is a sliding road beam between the homeland, which must be paid by all patriots. This applies to anyone who uses the road.
The facts today speak clearly, look at the road. I believe that Mrs. Vjosa and everyone else if they want to see, see the capillary change in that path, which was dangerous and today is being done by all standards. So, these are two points that clearly speak of a disease that has affected and is eroding politics in Kosovo, making an alternation of domestic political functions with foreign policy and vice versa “, said the Prime Minister of Albania.
