The new measures announced three days ago by the government to curb the spread of coronavirus are expected to come into effect on Thursday evening. As of this evening, the night curfew will start at 8.30 pm and it will last until 6 am. These measures will apply during the year-end holidays and they will remain in force until January 5.
People will not be allowed to leave their homes during these hours unless they have an emergency or they have to work. Meanwhile, bars and restaurants will also have to close by 8.30 pm. According to the government, these measures aim at protecting the health of the population./abcnews.al
