State police has released Monday details about the large-scale anti-drug action, which has led to the arrest of 27 people and the seizure of 120.9 kilograms of drugs.
According to the law enforcement, the mega operation was launched after a 6-month investigation, initiated by the investigative structures of DVP Vlora, under the direction of the Vlora Prosecution.
Furthermore, the officers have exercised controls in many apartments, while during the action were seized 4 shotguns, binoculars, a sports pistol and 39 mobile phones.
The arrested were: M. B., 56 years old, resident in Vlora; A. J., 60 years old, resident in Vlora; Sh. I., 64 years old, resident in Vlora; D. T., 44 years old, resident in Poro, Vlora; I. H., 63 years old, resident in Vlora; M. M., 45 years old, resident in Vranisht, Himara; B. G., 35 years old, resident in Kuç, Himara; E. G., 35 years old, resident in Kuç, Himara; S. L., 32 years old, resident in Kallarat, Himara; B. R., 61 years old, resident in Kallarat, Himara; J.. Sh., 47 years old, resident in Kallarat, Himara; H. Xh., 71 years old, resident in Kallarat, Himara; A. D., 48 years old, resident in Gjirokastra and M. D., 29 years old resident in Fier.
They were imprisoned under the criminal charge “Cultivation of narcotic plants” carried out in collaboration.
Meanwhile, with “House arrest”, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Abuse of duty” committed in collaboration were charged citizens: H. B., 77 years old, resident in Kuç, Himara; R. D., 45 years old, resident in Gjirokastra; M. R., 53 years old, resident in Gjirokastra; P. C., 56 years old, resident in Bashaj, Himara, acting inspector of forests and pastures in the villages of Vranisht and Terbaç, Himara; I. GJ., 64 years old, resident in Terbaç, Himara, acting inspector of forests and pastures in the villages of Vranisht, Himara.
Security measures “Obligation to appear” were executed for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Failure to report a crime”, for the citizens: S. F., 16 years old, resident in Kuç, Himara; H. Sh., 66 years old resident in Vranisht, Himara, acting mayor of Vranisht village; V. L., 48 years old resident in Kuç, Himara, acting mayor of Kuç village; Ç. F., 72 years old resident in Kuç, Himara, acting mayor of the village Kuç and A. B., 44 years old resident in Tërbaç, Himara.
Following the operation were declared wanted, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, citizens: A. GJ., 50 years old, resident in Terbaç, Himara; A. J., 36 years old, resident in Tërbaç, Himara; L. GJ., 25 years old, resident in Terbaç, Himara and M. S., 36 years old, resident in Tirana.
