Ilir Meta has commemorated St. Teresa on her 110th birthday. Through a Facebook post, the head of state has stated that the humanitarian works of St. Mother Teresa today has inspired more than ever.

” Today, 110 years ago, was born St. Mother Teresa, the Albanian and world symbol of humanism and solidarity, which with the strength of her love and compassion has gain the hearts of all of us and won the respect of millions people around the world, giving honor and pride to the Albanian nation in the most difficult time.
Today, the humanitarian works of St. Teresa is more than ever an inspiration, to help today with love people in need, the abandoned and the sick people. We must do everything necessary for anyone who needs help, solidarity and social support, as well we need to work hard and together to restore hope for a dignified life, for the employment of citizens, the economic development of the country and curb the depopulation.
