President Ilir Meta this Friday approved the law on amendments to the Electoral Code. In his reaction, Meta emphasizes that the changes in the Electoral Code are the only product of the consensual agreement of 14 January and 5 June agreed in the Political Council, which enables the safe road of Albania’s European path.
Among other things, he emphasizes that these changes were the agreement of all political parties in the country.
The head of state also once again appeals on the political parties that the political dialogue, comprehensive, transparent and sincere between the political forces on all issues affecting the elections is the only way that brings Albania closer to the European Union and makes the Electoral Reform in accordance with OSBE / ODIHR standards./abcnews.al
