Prime Minister Edi Rama has congratulated the United States of America on the 244th anniversary of its independence.
Rama made the wish through a video, which shows some of the most prominent figures in American history, including Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, George Bush, John Kennedy and Martin Luther King.
The images in the video are also from the arrival of President George Bush in Albania, also a part of his speech, when it is stated the independence of the Kosovo.
The United States is known as one of Albania’s biggest supporters, and has been a major supporter of Kosovo’s declaration of independence.
But on July 4, it is also the birthday of the head of government, who is celebrating his 56th birthday today./abcnews.al
