Coronavirus death toll rises to 69 in Albania

In the last 24 hours, 82 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Albania. Thus, in total the number of infected in the country increases to 2, 662.

The Ministry of Health also announced that 3 people with Covid-19 have died today. In total the number of victims increases to 69.

A 63-year-old from Tirana, a 65-year-old from Tirana and a 60-year-old from Elbasan lost the battle with Covid-19. They also had some concomitant diseases and lost their lives in the Infectious Diseases Hospital, despite treatment in intensive care and the efforts of medical staff.

Whereas, active cases in Albania remain to 1,034.

Also, in the last 24 hours, 43 citizens have been recovered, bringing the total number to 1, 559 since the beginning of the epidemic.
