Infectious disease doctor Entela Kolovani, in an interview for “Abc e Mëngjesit”, stated that the underestimation of protective measures against coronavirus has led to an increase in the number of new cases and hospitalizations.
In her speech, Kolovari emphasized that the increase of new cases in medical staff in recent days has come as a result of inaccurate non-compliance with protective measures by some doctors and nurses.
Among other things, the doctor emphasized that the number of patients hospitalized has increased in the last three days.
“Over 50 hospitalized cases where some of them needs oxygen therapy. We have one person in intubation and 7 others are in intensive care. The situation is under control and after the last few days, with the increase of new cases, the infectious service has the capacity to deal with the situation “, she said.
