Today is International Nurses’ Day, of those who are the closest people to patients.
In these difficult days, they have been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, leaving families without meeting them for months and endangering their health, in order to be close to their patients.
Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote on Facebook that nurses taught us that the hero is the one who sacrifices.
Also president Ilir Meta on the International Nurses Day said that gratitude to them should not be expressed in just one day.
The head of state, through a post on the social network Facebook, writes that Albanian society and state institutions must show maximum care and evaluation for the nurses, who prevailed on the front line of coping with COVID-19, risking their lives and the lives of their families to protect the health of all of us./abcnews.al
