“State of Siege”: Police has punished 745 people for violating the Prime Minister’s order

The number of drivers who have been punished by administrative measures has gone to 745.

Police say that 5 car drivers were also arrested, who were driving in the street in violation of the order from P.M, as well as a driver in Shkodra for violently opposing a public order officer.

In addition, three drivers in Shkodra are being prosecuted for disobeying a police officer’s order.

93 drivers were escorted to the DVP Commissariats premises, after they opposed the police for administrative measures, for breaking the order for prohibition of circulation of vehicles and police also blocked their cars.

The State Police appeals once again to all drivers to respect the restriction of movement of vehicles, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 , otherwise they will face escalating legal sanctions under the norms set out in the Albanian Road Code./abcnews.al
