The Special Prosecutor’s Office has closed the investigations and sent the criminal group with at least 11 people for trial. Among whom is Erzen Breçani and former crime boss Dedan Gjoni.
In the official announcement SPAK clarifies that this criminal group is involved in international narcotics trafficking, where each member has specific roles and duties, from financing and ordering, to transporting and distributing narcotics.
Members use their international connections, particularly in Latin American and European countries, to secure the supply and transportation of narcotics.
Also, they are engaged in laundering money obtained from criminal activity through apparently legitimate investments, to hide the true source of income. SPAK also documented the criminal activity carried out by this group, starting with the seizure of 446 kg of cocaine in the Netherlands in 2021, to continue with the seizure of 116 kg of cocaine and 69 kg of seized cocaine. in Brazil during 2021.

Cenaj and Ajeti sheltered and helped Nuredin Dumani in order to avoid justice at a time when a security measure was set for this person by the court.
