A police officer in Fier has been suspended from duty, after being accused of corruption. From the investigation carried out by AMP, it was found that the police officer, Inspector, during the performance of his functional duty, committed corrupt actions with vehicle drivers by not punishing them with administrative measures.
It is emphasized that the Court’s decision came as a function of the Criminal Procedure of 2024, investigated for the criminal offenses “Active corruption of persons exercising public functions”, “Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions” and “Abuse of duty”.
