State Police has underlined this Sunday that no problems have been encountered by the officers regarding the condition of polling stations and electoral materials.
In an announcement, the law enforcement underlined that employees who vacated the polling stations premises have been relocated to the temporary police stations approved by the Central Elections Commission (CEC).
Meanwhile, the State Police is on complete standby to guarantee order and public safety throughout the country, with the aim of creating a safer environment, in order to guarantee a smooth electoral process.
“No problem has been detected during the storage of election facilities and materials, as well as during the process of handing over the voting centers to the VC commissioners, this morning.
The employees of the State Police throughout the country, scheduled with the service for the preservation of objects and election materials, started from 06:00 in the morning on May 14, 2023, the delivery of voting centers according to all legal requirements, with process- the relevant minutes of the voting committee.
The Police Services, during the performance of the service for guarding the voting centers, did not find any problems. The police officers who delivered the polling stations are concentrated in the temporary police stations, approved by the CEC, as defined by the law”, announced the police.
