Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj and socialist MP, Xhemal Qefalia, met this Thursday with the residents of Tufina, Fresk, Dajti, Zall-Herri, Shëngjergji and Zall Bastari, from where he thanked everyone who joined the Socialist Party’s (SP) the electoral campaign.
During the gathering, Veliaj said that this was indeed a model campaign in the capital, but what distinguishes the Socialist Party is the fact that it comes to every unit and every village not only for campaigning, but at any time when it needs to be close to the citizens, especially in difficult times.
Moroever, he asked for citizens’ votes, saying that they are needed to continue with the big investments, among which the Great Ring of Tirana.
“This has been an incredible journey! But we are not together just for the campaign. We were here even when there was no campaign. We had won the last battle when the earthquake struck and we showed that we were not one of those who appear once in 4 years.
We have been with Xhemal and our leaders in every house that needed to be raised, in every family that needed love, in every elderly and lonely person that needed support.
We are the political force called the Socialist Party, even when there is rain, even when there is sun, even when there are earthquakes, even when there is a pandemic, even when we are safe and sound because a family is always together and this is our family”, said Veliaj to residents.
