Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja has underlined Thursday that the murder that happened on Wednesday in Lezha, where businessman Ardian Nikulaj was shot to death must be solved and the killer must be put to justice.
After the government meeting regarding the salary increase, he was asked about the accusations that political opponents have made against his party that the killing of businessman Ardian Nikulaj in Lezha the day before was for political reasons.
According to the minister, this is an event that should not be used for political purposes as the opponents are doing.
“I want to express my condolences to the family and relatives and all my solidarity for this sad event, in the first place we are Albanians and we must unite in a request for the disclosure of this event and bringing the perpetrators of this event to justice heavy.
Regarding the accusations, I have disgust and contempt because they are the same people who committed the murder, the division and the use of the victims for political gain, they have had their political DNA for 32 years”, he said.
However, the incident happened a day ago in Shengjin, where the citizen Ardian Nikulaj, an important exponent in the city of Lezha, was shot dead.
He was shot in his business, while there were two people who comitted the crime left immediately.
Nikulaj was a candidate for MP in the 2021 elections under the Partia Socialdemokrate e Shqipërisë (SDP) logo, but he was also on the list for the Municipal Council for the “May 14” elections.
