SPAK starts the investigation for Bllako’s property

The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime has launched a property investigation against former Socialist Party MP Alqi Bllako. In this way, in addition to the criminal proceedings in SPAK, against Bllako, verifications are being carried out regarding his property.

Journalist Ermal Vija reports that in the site of the Special Prosecution, in addition to the seizure of the apartment owned by the father of the former MP, in the magnifying glass of SPAK, are also placed his bank accounts.

SPAK is conducting investigative actions, where according to sources, the prosecution institution has requested information from commercial banks to verify the bank accounts that Bllako may have.

Also, according to sources close to SPAK, it is learned that the letter to verify Bllako’s assets have been sent to institutions and property agencies, to see if there are assets in the name of the former MP and his family.

A property investigation is also underway for the former Minister of Environment, Lefter Koka, who is facing two arrest warrants for the affair of the incinerators in Fier and Elbasan. The latter is also accused of money laundering.

Sources say that the same procedure is being proceeded for the former minister where, in addition to the seizure of the canteen of alcoholic beverages, and four properties, his bank accounts and those of his family are being verified. Koka is also accused of money laundering. According to SPAK, for the affair of the two incinerators, he has benefited in the form of a bribe of about 4.9 million euros. /abcnews.al
