The pediatrician, Gjeorgjina Kuli-Lito said that there are about 3500 posisite children, of which 5% of them have required help from the hospital.
She also stressed out that currently there are free capacities if they will be necessary for hospitalization of children, while she stated that fortunately during the last two months there has been no increase in the demand for hospitalizations.
“Regarding to all the pediatric cases, we have confirmed about 3500 positive cases, of which only 5% have requested hospital assistance.
We currently have free capacity to hospitalize children if needed, we also have scenarios ready to help in cases of increased demand for hospitalization which has not been noticed in the last two months. “Fortunately, the cases of child fatality remain with a case that we reported at the beginning of the pandemic”, she said./abcnews.al
