Large drugs’ elimination operation has taken place Thursday in the city of Elbasan. During the action was hit a dangerous criminal group that seems to have been playing the threads of traffic not only in Albania but also abroad.
Police sources confirmed that heroin was seized inside a truck on the Albania-Greece line, which had entered from Turkey and was about to transport the narcotic substance to Greece.
So far, several packages of drugs were found inside the truck and preliminary information has it that they are more than 4 kilograms.
In addition, the same sources specify that as a result of this operation were arrested 5 Albanian citizens and another was declared wanted./abcnews.al
