Two planes carrying 154 Afghan citizens arrived in our country after midnight. The refugees were received at Rinas Airport by US Ambassador Yuri Kim, Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In a post on Twitter in the early hours of Saturday, US diplomat Yuri Kim says that in the second group of Afghans who arrived in our country there are children, women of all professions, journalists and activists.
Kim thanks Albania for the work it is doing to keep “people away from evil.”

Recall that the first group of Afghan refugees arrived in our country in the early hours of Friday. It was about 121 people, civil society activists, among them children, as well as 11 babies, departing from Kabul who were accommodated in three hotel facilities in Durrës. / abcnews.al
