Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has started his speech before the deputies of the Albanian Parliament. Zelensky thanked Albania for its clear position against Russia as well as for the assistance provided by our country to Ukraine.
“The people of Albania and all Muslims around the world celebrated Eid al-Fitr. I wish you what Ukrainians now wish each other: Peace! Russia has turned all our days into a danger to life. Yesterday due to a rocket in Odessa, a 14-year-old boy lost his life and a 17-year-old girl was injured.
Every day we lose children from Russian attacks. “220 children were killed and 406 were injured. Today is a farewell ceremony for the REL journalist who was killed by a Russian missile in Kiev,” Zelensky told Albanian lawmakers.
Earlier, Zelensky also addressed the US Senate and other parliaments of European Union countries. Ukraine has found great support in the West after the russian invasion.
