Yuri Kim: US will closely monitor the SPAK selection process

American Ambassador Yuri Kim has said that she has met “every member of the Supreme Prosecution Council (SPC) to underline the importance of electing a new head of SPAK”.

In a tweet, Kim wrote that the process should not be influenced by those who have an interest in limiting or manipulating investigations. She emphasizes that justice institutions must be independent and judges and prosecutors equal before the law.

The ambassador also adds that the US will closely monitor the SPAK selection process.
