Timely intervention of the Border Police in Shengjin saved the lives of two young people who risked drowning, after their Jet Ski boat broke down in the middle of the sea late on Sunday evening.
Police managed to locate one of the citizens after half an hour of searching at sea. According to the police, the minor, a passenger in the Jet Ski, was trying to swim ashore and the operator of the vehicle was also located behind him.
Moreover, the Police services pulled to the shore the jet ski that had suffered a defect. Fortunately, the two citizens who were rescued by the services of the Border Police are in good health.
After the save, they and their families have thanked the services of the Border Police, for the quick intervention and the help they provided.
“Yesterday evening, the services of Shengjin Border Police received notification that two citizens who had gone into the sea, with a Jet Ski, in the place called “Rana e Hedhun”, had not returned to the shore and had lost contact with their families Theirs.
The services of the Border Police and the Maritime Police Unit have immediately started checks, with the Border Police’s vessels. After half an hour of searching, the 17-year-old (passenger of the boat) was located in the sea, about 5 miles from the shore, who was trying to swim ashore to ask for help, after the Jet Ski boat which he was sailing with his friend, had suffered a defect. Immediately, the Police services took the 17-year-old in their boat and gave him first aid.
Afterwards, the Border Police services located the 18-year-old man who had remained in the sea because the Jet Ski he was driving had suffered a malfunction and was in danger of sinking. Immediately, the services of the Border Police took the 18-year-old in their boat and gave him first aid.
Also, the Police services have pulled to the shore, the jet ski that had suffered a defect.
Both citizens who were rescued by the services of the Border Police are in good health. They and their families have thanked the services of the Border Police, for the quick intervention and the help they were offered.
