Ervis Kurti has been arrested with the charge that he helped his friend Habib Rexha escape the scene after the murder of Arjan Gosa, but denied having any knowledge about what he is being accused of.
Kurti was arrested for the criminal offense of “Supporting the author of the crime”, and was escorted to the police after the testimony given by Habib Rexha. In front of the investigators, Rexha revealed that he was helped by his friend to flee to Kukes after committing the killing.
Meanwhile, the police announced that based on the evidence provided, the authorities have arrested 29-year-old Ervis Kurti.
“Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Kavajë Police Station, following the investigative actions carried out under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, to clarify the circumstances of the event that occurred on 21.05.2023, in a bar, where a citizen was killed, based in the evidence provided during the investigation and in the information provided by the information intelligence, they detained the citizen E. K., 29 years old, resident in Kavaja, for the criminal offense of “Supporting the perpetrator of the crime”.
From the investigative actions, it was found that this citizen helped the perpetrator of the murder, citizen H.R. (arrested yesterday) to leave the scene after committing the crime, taking him in his vehicle.
The vehicle was found and seized as material evidence”, proclaimed the police.
