This Monday students across the country are back in the universities. However, the situation in the faculties was not the usual of the first day. There has been unrest in most of these institutions because a good portion of the students have not been vaccinated.
The situation was chaotic on Monday morning at the Faculty of History and Philology in Tirana. In some footage filmed at the main gate of the faculty is seen a large number of students who are not being allowed to enter the building.
According to the rules set by the Ministry of Education, only those who have been vaccinated with one or two doses will be allowed to enter the auditorium, while others will have to submit a negative buffer. This has led to clashes between students who have refused to be vaccinated and persons who have been placed by educational institutions to control the implementation of the rules.
A similar situation has been created in the Faculty of Natural Sciences. /abcnews.al
