Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has confiscated 15 assets of Arben Kaçorri and his family members. Kaçorri is the brother-in-law of Ervis Martinaj, who is missing for quite some time now.
List of seized assets includes apartments, garages on the main streets of Tirana, but also in other cities. We remind you that Kaçorri was also the subject of the “Force of the Law” operation.
In February 2020, “OFL” wrote to Ervis Martinaj, Arben Kaçorri and his brother Valentino Kaçorri, convicted in Italy for murder and arms trafficking, to fill out the form for justifying their assets.
“In addition to the exercise of criminal prosecution, the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime also focuses on the identification, seizure and confiscation of assets that are suspected to be derived from crime.
Pursuant to Normative Act No. 1, dated 31.01.2020 “On preventive measures in the framework of the fight against terrorism, organized crime, serious crimes and the consolidation of public security order”, the Special Prosecutor’s Office has addressed the Special Court of First Degree for Corruption and Organized Crime with the request for the confiscation of the assets of the entity Arben Kaçorri and related persons.
The Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 27 dated 12.07.2023, among others, decided the confiscation of assets as follows:
Property type Apartment with a surface area of 70.03 m2, with address “Kavajës” Street, Tirana, owned by citizen Eljona Pal Kaçorri.
Property of the type Apartment with an area of 70.03 m2, with address “Kavajës”, owned by citizen Eljona Pal Kaçorri.
Property of the type Garage with an area of 12.50 m2, with address “Kavajës”, owned by citizen Eljona Pal Kaçorri.
The property with the address “Community of Paris”, Tirana, of the type Garage with an area of 14, 50 m2, owned by the citizen Besnik Pjetër Kaçorri.
