Vlora prosecution launches probe into center for people with disabilities’ abuse

The Prosecutor’s Office of Vlora has launched investigations into the scandal at the Center for Persons with Disabilities in Vlora. The reaction comes after a report by KLSH, where a number of problems were presented, starting from the abuses of the company that had carried out the works, food and up to the attempt to alienate the property.

The prosecution has seized a number of documents, starting from the reconstruction of the building, which according to the report, presents problems even though reconstructed and up to the non-registration of the property as an asset of the Vlora Municipality. Prosecutor Arian Xhaferri, OPG of the Institution and the leaders of anti-crime, have interrogated several people.

KLSH discovered the scandal with the building and the territory of the institution for children with disabilities, where it is suspected that the alienation of the property was being prepared and the children were to leave there to build multi-storey buildings for them.
