High Inspectorate of Justice (HIJ) has sent this Monday a letter to the Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj, where it presents the problems of their 10-month work, one of the most important being the filling of vacancies in this institution.
HIJ proposes to the minister legal changes for the conditions or criteria that the candidates must meet because the current conditions are not met by anyone. In these conditions, HIJ wants to reduce the age limit for candidates, from 13 years to 7 years of experience.
In order to be appointed an inspector in HIJ, you must meet the same conditions as for the High Court. HIJ should have 24 inspectors, while there is only 1.
“During the 10-month work, several problems have been identified, where one of them is related to guaranteeing the functioning of HIJ by filling vacancies for inspectors, as well as the same financial treatment of magistrate and non-magistrate inspectors and adjusting the relationship between HIJ and inspectors during the phase of verification of complaints, disciplinary investigation and inspection “, it is said in the letter of HIJ/abcnews.al
