Police Supervision Agency (PSA) has arrested two employees at the Rinas Police Station this Wednesday.
According to the police, the two cops are suspected of being involved in ‘Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions’, carried out in collaboration.
Detained policemen are:
– Inspector, Ardit Doçi, 31 years old, with Controller duties at the Rinas Airport Police Station;
– Inspector, Endri Beramaj, 24 years old, with Controller duties at the Rinas Police Station.
The arrest was made after during the procedural investigative actions, carried out to verify the information on the involvement in corrupt actions, reasonable suspicions were created, based on evidence that the police officers, using the organic function, have requested and benefited from monetary values in the form of bribes, from a citizen traveling outside the territory of the Republic of Albania.
